OUR STORY

The Agarwal Group of Companies was founded by Late Shri K.L. Agarwal – A visionary, a leader, and a pioneer. He was born in an affluent business family and at an early age of 22 decided to step out of his hometown in Rajasthan to explore business opportunities in Goa which was then under Portuguese rule.
He set up the first flagship company K.L.Agarwal and Bros. in 1962 as army contractors for Defence supplies to cater to the general needs of the Indian Army which was just taking charge of Goa. Having laid the foundation the Agarwal Group then kept striding forward to venture into different verticals. The group has diversified its business operations into trading industrial products, real estate, hospitality, information technology, and renewable energy.

Jitendra Agarwal

A B.Com graduate from Mumbai University, he began working in the family business soon after. A keen learner and observer of markets, it was his brainchild to foray into industrial consumables in 1986. Under his leadership, the company became the first organization in India to be certified by the ISO 9002 for marketing industrial products.
He is a member of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and The Toastmasters of Goa. He additionally contributes to the social and educational projects of the state.

A BSc. Graduate from Jaipur University Mr.Agarwal was a person with great aspiration, deep commitment & strong conviction. He was a perfectionist and a disciplinarian. His prudence and meticulous nature are reflected in the way he streamlined the functioning and business processes.
Under Mr. Agarwal’s vision and leadership, the group witnessed exponential growth starting in a humble way the group has diversified its business operations into trading of industrial products, real estate, hospitality, information technology, and renewable energy.
His inclination towards spirituality his religious temperament and his association with the Chinmaya Mission shaped his thinking and personality which is reflected in his work ethics and Corporate social responsibility
Throughout this amazing journey, his progressive and rational attitude has always been a source of inspiration and motivation for all.

Jitendra Agarwal

Mr. Jitendra Agarwal is the Managing Director of Agarwal Group of Companies. Established in 1962, The AGARWAL GROUP has ventured into a diverse business ranging from defense supplies, Mining, hospitality to construction and has carved a niche for itself in the Indian market. Mr. Agarwal is a keen learner and observer of markets, sensed the pulse of the market, and identified an altogether new domain of renewable energy to explore.
In 2016 he founded the Anemos Energies Pvt. Ltd, a joint venture with a European company, which has over 15 years of research and development in wind turbines. Mr.Agarwal has received the International Achievers Award in the area of renewable energy at the International Festival of Peace held at the Indian Embassy in Dubai.

Ekta Agarwal

Director

Ekta Agarwal holds an Engineering Degree in Computer Science(BE), a Masters Degree in Computer Application(MCA), and a Masters Diploma in Business Administration(MDBA). She served as an Assistant Professor at VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics and Govt College of Arts Art, Science, and Commerce – Quepem for almost two decades.
Currently, Mrs. Agarwal is CEO and Founder of S.S. Technologies, a Software Development Company & Director at Anemos Energies Pvt. Ltd, a company manufacturing vertical axis wind turbines. Mrs. Agarwal has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the entire portfolio of the Company’s offerings. She oversees the key functions and business enablement. She is also a partner in other companies under the Agarwal Group of Companies. As an entrepreneur and passionate learner, she believes in taking up challenging projects to build a diverse portfolio and constantly upgrading technical skills to stay relevant in the current industry context.
